This Copyright Notice describes ownership of content on the The Rooster website at therooster.app, our mobile application, and related materials (collectively, the “Service”). Unless otherwise noted, all content is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

The Service, including its design, layout, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the selection and arrangement of those materials, is owned by The Rooster or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
2. Trademarks
The Rooster, the rooster logo, and related marks, names, and branding are trademarks or trade dress of The Rooster. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission, except as allowed by law or with clear attribution where nominative use is permitted.
3. Permitted use
You may:
- View and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with our Terms of Service;
- Share links to public pages on therooster.app; and
- Download and use our mobile app through official app store channels when available.
You may not, without our prior written consent:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from Service content;
- Scrape, frame, or mirror the website or app content for commercial use;
- Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; or
- Use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
4. User and third-party content
Tournament names, team names, rosters, photos, and other content submitted by users remain the responsibility of those users. By submitting content through the Service, users grant The Rooster the rights needed to operate the platform as described in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Third-party names, logos, and marks (for example, sports organizations or payment providers) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
5. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us with:
- Your name and contact information;
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
- Identification of the material on the Service and its location (URL or description);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

We may update this Copyright Notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
